
MAT TERILLION
INSTRUCTOR
Mat was a 3 year starter for the New Milford High School baseball team as an outfielder and pitcher where he was named 1st Team All-South-West Conference (SWC) in 1997 and was selected to the CHSCA Baseball All-Star Game at Fenway Park. Following his high school career, Mat went on to play at Lynchburg College for one year before having Tommy John surgery and transferring to Bryant University where he was named to the All-Northeast Conference (NEC) team in 2000 as a relief pitcher.
Experience
Following his collegiate career, Mat went on to play for Vinny Carlucci and the Danbury Barons in the Westchester Rockland Wood Bat League. He is the only 5 time Gold Glove Award winner for his Centerfield play and was one of the top closers in the league, leading to his election to the WRWBL Hall of Fame in 2007.
After his playing career, he has continued his love of the game thru coaching and instruction. Mat has coached at multiple levels including Little League, Babe Ruth, American Legion, and Collegiate summer ball for the past 20 years as a head coach and pitching coach.
Mat is currently the pitching coach at Wilton High School and has pitching certifications thru Driveline and Rapsodo.
